Counselling

A calm, compassionate space to feel heard, understood and supported.

Counselling offers a confidential space to pause, reflect and begin to make sense of what you are carrying. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, low, stuck, or unsure where to begin. You might be navigating a difficult life season, living with chronic illness, experiencing changes in your relationships, or simply feeling that life feels heavier than it used to.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you start. Together, we can gently explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe for you.

How counselling can help

Counselling can offer space to understand yourself more deeply, recognise patterns, process difficult experiences, and begin to reconnect with your own needs, feelings and sense of self.

I work relationally and compassionately, which means the relationship between us is central to the work. My aim is to offer a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious and supported — without judgement or pressure.

I can support with.....

I offer counselling for women experiencing a range of emotional and life challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • Stress and burnout

  • Low self-worth or self-doubt

  • Perfectionism and people-pleasing

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Motherhood, identity and life transitions

  • Grief, loss and change

  • Living with chronic illness

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself

  • Feeling stuck, lost or unsure how to move forward

You may know exactly what you want to talk about, or you may simply have a sense that something does not feel right. Both are welcome.

What to expect

Our sessions are a space for you to talk openly about what feels important to you. I will not tell you what to do or push you to go somewhere you are not ready to go. Instead, we will work together to explore what is happening beneath the surface and make sense of things in a way that feels manageable.

Counselling can be short-term, focused on a particular issue, or longer-term if you would like deeper space for reflection and personal growth.

Sessions and fees

Sessions last 60 minutes and are charged at £50 per session.

Counselling is available in Wellington, Somerset, with online sessions also available.

A full counselling agreement, including confidentiality, cancellations and practical details, will be shared before we begin working together.

Confidentiality

Counselling is a confidential space. This means what you share is treated with care and respect. There are some limits to confidentiality, such as concerns about serious risk of harm or safeguarding, and these will be explained clearly before we begin.

Taking the next step

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it is important that you find someone who feels like the right fit for you.

If you would like to enquire about counselling, you are welcome to get in touch. We can arrange an initial conversation to talk about what you are looking for and whether I may be the right person to support you.
