Reasonable steps are taken to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

How long I keep your information

If you make an enquiry but do not begin counselling, I will usually keep your enquiry information for up to 6 months, unless there is a reason to keep it for longer.

If you become a counselling client, I will usually keep counselling records for  7 years after our work ends, in line with professional, legal and insurance requirements.

After this time, records will be securely deleted or destroyed.

Who I may share information with

Your information is not sold or shared for marketing purposes.

In limited circumstances, information may be shared with:

  • My clinical supervisor, with identifying details kept to a minimum where possible

  • Professional or legal advisers, if required

  • Emergency, safeguarding or health services, if there is a serious risk of harm

  • Legal authorities, if required by law

  • Website, email, booking or payment providers used to run the practice

If you use the contact form on this website, the information you provide will be used to respond to your enquiry. Website form submissions may also be processed through the website provider.
